TENGO DVALISHVILI

THE PATH OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER
“It is not enough for a real photographer to
be able to see the beauty of the world around.
It is important to be able to reflect, show and
convey to others through photography"
Tengiz Dvalishvili.
The pre-dawn morning crept into the room and, opening the window, flooded the entire space with sunlight, filling the sound of the waterfall and the scent of the sun. Thus began the Path of the photographer, Tengiz Dvalishvili.
There are people for whom beauty, manifested in every moment, in every sound, in every image, is the meaning of their existence.
Tengiz Dvalishvili, musician, photographer, photo artist, photo psychologist belongs to the community of rare people who are able to subtly feel beauty, reflect it and give it to people.
The path of a creative person is always very interesting, unusual and individual. Tengiz will tell about how the creative Path of Tengiz Dvalishvili developed, what plans and prospects lie ahead.
I.N. - Tengiz, tell us how you became a photographer?
T.D. - As a child, I loved to look at people's faces. In every face I looked for its unique beauty and individuality. Everyone, absolutely every person has his own beauty, but not everyone notices it. I liked seeing the beauty in people. But my path as a photographer did not take shape right away. Before that, there was a stage associated with music, motorcycles and cars. It still remains in my life, but already as a hobby.
I.N. - Did your previous professional activity somehow influence you as a photographer? Can you tell us about your period connected with music?
T.D. - I graduated from the conservatory in Tbilisi in the class of "classical guitar". After that, he played as a solo guitarist in the instrumental ensemble "New Orera". The founder of this group was a famous singer - Legend of Georgia, Robert Bardzimashvili.
I.N. - And why did you decide to become a musician and chose the guitar?
T.D. - Actually, my older brother was supposed to be the guitarist. His parents invited a teacher for him, who taught a lesson, and at that time I was also at home and watched. It was very interesting to me! And after the lesson, I asked the teacher for an instrument and accurately played all the chords. This is how my interest in music flared up and accompanied me for 15 years. My family was very supportive. I am very grateful and grateful to them for this.
I.N. - And what influenced such a cardinal change in your professional activity?
T.D. - This question is still a mystery to me.
One day I went to bed as a musician and woke up as a photographer. On this wonderful morning, I was awakened by the sound of a waterfall, which is located not far from my house in the small historical town of Vani in Georgia. I thought that from now on I am changing my creative direction. So I decided to try my hand at photography. I bought my first camera and started learning this craft.
I.N. - What contributed to your professionalism and influenced your success in photography?
T.D. - I moved to Moscow to study photography skills. I was lucky to study and work with a famous photographer, Alexander Borodulin, son of the legendary sports photojournalist, Lev Borodulin. And from that day began my active professional growth in the modeling business as a photographer. Alexander taught me not only professional photography skills, but also worldly wisdom. He was and remains my mentor and friend.
I.N. - Tengiz, tell us how you became a photojournalist for the Union of Nationalities magazine?
T.D. - I was introduced to the Editor-in-Chief of the Union of Nationalities magazine, Marina Yanoshko, with whom we still work in this friendly team.
